Environmental Education

The farm has seen some great progress in the last few weeks. We were happy to get the first layer of plastic up on our Community Greenhouse. A hearty thanks to Tyler Gough of Indy Urban Acres for coming and helping out with that challenge. We are also happy to announce that we have passed all state inspections for becoming an official goat dairy and cheese production facility. Look for PSOE’s Gnarly Val coming to a store near you! The goats and chickens are enjoying the snow as much as they can, though they prefer a warmer day compared to the more recent frozen days. The garden is sleeping soundly under the layers of compost, soil and cover crop waiting for the day that it can bloom and blossom into greatness.

Here we grow!
