Welcome to Spanish!

This week in Spanish class, the students will begin learning how to read and pronounce the most frequently encountered colors.  Students in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade will read the book, The Day the Crayons Quit, and listen to the song “De qué color es?” Students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade will play a game using their knowledge to put colored strips of paper in order as they are called out with increasing speed. Middle schoolers will participate in an activity in which students work in partners to properly complete a colored grid.  The students must give each other directions in Spanish to be successful.
